Original Southwestern Landscape Paintings
Celebrate the spirit and energy of the land with Southwestern landscape paintings that are magical, mystical, expansive, colorful, unique, and enchanting. Did I miss an adjective here… hahaha!!
Have you been to the Southwest? How would you describe the landscape? Do you love nature and getting out onto the land, the forest, or the mountains?
Being in nature is integral to the health of our mind, body, and spirit. Somehow being away from manmade structures soothes what ails us. Even if we cannot put words to what we are feeling, most of us know that we feel pretty darn good when out in nature.
Our native and natural world is diminishing around us. It gives me great joy to know that I am preserving a piece of history and a memory of this place through my landscape paintings. Combining my two loves of being out in nature and painting is a dream come true!
Bring Home the Sedona Landscape
Sedona has been my home since 2014. I feel like I’m just now getting to know this landscape through my painting process and walking my feet upon the red earth and rocks. Consider gifting yourself or a loved one with a piece of Sedona seen through my eyes and felt through my heart. The land is my muse and kindred spirit. Sedona is known for its vortex energy power spots. I love painting in these places. Actually, all of Sedona is a vortex. There are locations in Sedona where the energies are felt to be stronger in vortex energy.
I began painting en plein air in 2015 after receiving a Red Rock Rangers District Hiking and Outfitters permit. I created Sedona Art Hikes where I take people out onto the red rocks on forest service land to paint in paradise. Enjoy browsing!Sharing is Caring...by
